Caitlin Carney TattooTrue Colours, Preston

Where my clients come from

I tattoo in Preston city centre, and people come from across Lancashire and the North West. Here's how to get to the studio from the places I see most, and where to park.

The studio

True Colours is at 14 Guildhall Street, Preston PR1 3NU, next to the Guild Hall. It's about a ten-minute walk from Preston railway station and five minutes from the bus station.

Parking. There are plenty of public car parks nearby. The main one is the Fishergate Shopping Centre car park, about £4 for the day and a short walk from the studio.

Trains. Preston is on the West Coast Main Line, with direct trains from most of Lancashire, Manchester and Liverpool. Open the studio in Google Maps.

Why people travel

Nobody drives an hour for a small walk-in, and nobody needs to. People travel for the work that takes planning: a portrait of someone you've lost, or of a character from a film, a Christian piece with the verse set exactly, or handwriting from a card. If that's you, send me the idea first and we can do most of the planning by message before you make the trip.

If you're coming a long way for a full-day session, say so when you book and I'll try to start early.
